What’s Ifdrinkable?

                Ifdrinkable is a website that allows the user to interact with water from around the world. We want you to determine whether the water is safe to drink, by allowing you to collect data on the sampling. Ifdrinkable has a interactive map that allows all users to input data and, compare data sampling with other data samplings.

         I am the founder of Ifdrinkable and i’m currently fourteen years old. A years ago my family and I took a trip around the world; my parents had assigned us each a project to work on while we ventured around the world. My project is geared towards allowing kids to understand their world, I will do so by exposing them to a better understanding of water.                                                                The goal for my website is to help kids learn how to interactively take water samples and understand why this is important in our modern society. Since I was a young I’ve always wanted to help my mom collect and test a water sampling. Collecting data has always seemed really interesting and fun, so I took it upon myself to teach others like me to understand the importance of clean and fresh water. So in the end I have created a user interface that allows everybody to share and insert data, by looking at the information you can conclude that the water near you is clean or polluted.
